Stained Glass for Beginners

Make three sun catchers for your windows as you learn to solder, cut glass, use lead came and copper foil.   Simple projects allow you to concentrate on technique.   12-hour workshop.

Fees:    Tuition: $85 city resident; $100 non-resident

Fused Glass Jewelry

Create at least five pieces using a variety of glass, including dichroic glass.   Using a kiln, you will fuse each piece for a beautiful finished product.  Note: Bring a bag lunch; beverages and desserts provided.   6-hour workshop.

Precious Metal Clay

Like any clay, Precious Metal Clay can be molded and formed, but it fires to pure silver (.999).   Learn to use this clay to make unique silver jewelry.   One pin or pendant will be completed in class.   4-hour workshop.

Bead Stringing & Knotting

Choose black onyx, rose quartz, or leopard jasper and learn to string beads, knotting between each.   3-hour workshop.

Mosaic Mirror

Mosaics are easy and a lot of fun.   Make a beautiful wall mirror for your home while you learn mosaic techniques that you can apply to other projects.   6-hour workshop.
